Agrippa has practiced at TMJ since 2004 when he commenced his articles of clerkship after being employed as a legal advisor by legal wise. He obtained his LLB degree in 2001 from the University of Natal, and was admitted as an attorney in 2006. In 2009, he was made a director of TMJ. He practices in the firm’s General Litigation and Public Law Department. Agrippa acquired his litigation skills under the supervision of the firm’s ex-director Jerome Mnguni who is now a Judge of the High Court and under whom Agrippa served his articles and worked as a junior attorney. Agrippa conducts a multi-disciplinary practice straddling litigation and Administrative Law and has a particular interest in Administrative and Procurement Law. Key features of his practice include, among others, advice on the interpretation of legislation and compliance with the regulatory frameworks within which Public Sector bodies and participants in regulated industries operate. He also advises public bodies and private entities on legislation relating to public procurement and conducts litigation arising out of tender processes and administrative decisions. He is an active member of the Black Lawyers Association.
